RESIDENTIAL MAINTENANCE:

Our residential service agreements are priced per customers needs and include the following:
We provide pool and/or spa service on a weekly basis

Test and balance pool water chemistry
Vacuuming
Brushing tile and pool walls as needed
Empty pump and skimmer baskets on a weekly basis or as needed
If present, check automatic pool cleaners and empty leaf trap bags
Filter cleaning 4 to 6 weeks or as needed.
(NOTE: DE filters will be broken down and the grids cleaned once a year at an additional charge)
If present, clean salt system cells every three months or as needed
Examine pool system for any problems

The services detailed above are for a minimum of 48 cleaning days per year. If your service day falls on a holiday we will make every attempt to work it into another service day that same week; however we may not always be able to. As well, some weather conditions or vehicle or equipment circumstances beyond our control may also cause a missed service day periodically throughout the year.

LEAK DETECTION AND REPAIRS:

THINK YOUR POOL IS LEAKING?

In south Florida it is normal to lose a 1/8’’-1/4’’ of water in your pool each day due to evaporation.

**Remember, pump and filter leaks will result in drips, puddles, and spraying of water at pool equipment.

Water loss in the pool will fluctuate depending on environmental conditions such as the weather and your pools proximity to water (ie. winds and/or open golf courses). Design factors regarding your pool will also affect its water loss- the surface area, whether or not there are fountains, spa overflows, and such water features which expose the water to air. Heating the pool or covering it will also affect its evaporation rate.

Note: in Florida the lack of humidity (dryer air) causes greater water loss- this is usually in our winter months NOT summer months. Also, more water loss is experienced when we have larger temperature differences between day and night. Also, warm water and dry cool air cause a lot of evaporation (ie. using your spa on a cool night).

The best way to find out if the pool is leaking is to do a 24 hour measurement of the pool’s water loss.

If you call in for a leak repair, please have the following information on hand:

24 hour measurement.
Gallons of pool (A general gallonage calculation formula is Length x Width x Average Depth x 7.5).
Is there an attached spa?
Location, if any, of previous leaks (ie. Light, skimmer, tile, return fitting, main drain).
Surface type (ie. Vinyl, marcite, pebble-tech).
Is pool heated-if so, is it covered with a solar blanket?
Does the pool leak more with the pump on or off?

If you are unable to do an accurate 24 hour measurement, we are happy to do it for you.
Note- the day the service technician arrives to search for a leak the pool must be clean and clear and filled back up to the normal level.

**Remember, the more accurate you can be with your measurement, the more cost efficient we can be in locating your leak.

Artistic Pavers have colors and textures that enhance the look of your pool and deck. Unlike a poured concrete deck, the interlocking pavers are a flexible decking system. Installed over sand our pavers can move with shifting ground conditions eliminating all the problems associated with cracked concrete decking. The materials in the pavers allow them to remain cool on the surface even in extremely hot climates.

WATER FEATURES & ROCK WATERFALLS:

Adding a water feature, such as a waterfall, deck jets or fountain, into your pool’s design will add interest and beauty to your backyard. Relaxing by a waterfall is something enjoyed by people of all cultures throughout history. Water features come in many different styles.  In most cases our team is able to add a water feature to your swimming pool with little to no modifications to your existing pool.

We construct our waterfalls with RicoRock® products.  RicoRock® products are made of fiber reinforced concrete (GFRC or FRC). This type of lightweight casting is less than 1 inch thick but has a high tensile strength.  RicoRock® are easier to maintain, less expensive, and much easier to install.

POOL OWNER RESPONSIBILITIES:

A WORD ABOUT PETS Acqua Nita Service requests that pets be placed inside the home or otherwise secured on service days. We do our best to guarantee your pets saf ety while servicing your pool but we cannot be responsible for pets that escape during our service call. As well, we will not service your pool if "guarded" by a unfriendly dog left unrestrained. We ask for your understanding and cooperat ion regarding household pets.

During summer months we need your filter system to run at least 8-hours each day of the week. All the chemicals in the world don't help stagnant water stay clear.
